The Gothic revival staircase is absolutely beautiful... here I took only a section of the impressive staircase... reminded me of 'Hogwarts'!

The Medieval quarter of the battle re-enactments weekend at Margam Country Park.

The backdrop to the battle re-enactments was Margam Castle, which was commissioned by Christopher Rice Mansel Talbot (1803-1890) and was constructed over a ten-year period from 1830 to 1840.

There as part of the battle re-enactment displays, this Spitfire is a British single-seat fighter aircraft, used by the Royal Air Force and many other Allied countries throughout the Second World.

I had to take this picture... how ofen do you get to see Roman Centurions talking to German Officers! The portaloos in the backgroud are a bonus!

Battle re-enactments at Margam Country Park... from Roman sword-fighting to a re-enactment from the French resistence, this day had something for everyone.

This is the new Haven standard Euro pitch at Caister. Each pitch has a TV, water and drain, together with the normal 240v 16amp supply on the pylon which also has a light (which goes out if the trip goes)

Inside the Red Cottage at St Fagans. This is a Welsh Dresser from South Wales. North Wales Dressers have a closed back. 'Dresser' comes from the name of the piece of furniture on which one 'dressed' the meat. We Welsh adopted the dresser and put shelves above for storage.

Inside the Red Cottage I spotted this neat little shelf, with it's lace and irons and a milk yolk above.
