Oh well the time had come for me to lock the front door behind us and set out on the journey to the airport . Arrived at Bristol way too early but we were there and all we had to do was wait for the desk to open to drop of the cases as we had booked in online . Went through to departures and had a stroll aroiund the shops picked up some last minute bits and pieces and then went to have a meal and a drink to kill more time , now comes the part i dislike seeing the flight up on the departure board and thats when i know i either go forward or act like a silly thing and say i dont want to go , but as usual i always make the right decision . we boarded the plane and i must say a nice flight .
My first impressions were Oh this looks a bit run down but i soon changed my mind , When we arrived at the apartments it was quite impressive with the lights on the pool , we were greeted by the lovely family that run them , up to the room which was very basic to freshen up and back down for a drink and a walk about to get our bearings which didn't take long.
While sat in the bar the next morning waiting for breakfast i noticed two women who kept looking over at the table so i said to hubby i'm sure thats Helen and Shirley from holiday truths , now all i had to go on was pics that i had seen of them from here , so i approached them and asked " are you two the famous Helen and Shirley " no they said what are they famous for so i apologised and told them about holidaytruths and that they were also in the resort and i thought they  had popped over to welcome me , but at least it broke the ice and we spoke each time we saw each other after that .
I kept my eyes open when up on the top road walking past the Cronulla to see if i could see Lancslass but to no avail ,also Helen and Shirley who i think i might have seen walking past the Oceanic Bar on the tuesday evening before they were due to leave on the thursday , by time i had put my drink down and went to see if it was them they were gone , so near yet so far , Shirley if it was you you were wearing a coral coloured top .
This is the first holiday that i can honestly say we flopped and dropped nearly the whole two weeks we were there , we didn't do all that i wanted to and i didn't miss it , actually the day beofre St Dennis's day we went for a walk and actually ended up in Zante town , i made sure we caught the bus back tho .
I am so glad that i went and will highly recommend Kalamaki to others as i can see why people return year after year . i dont know why people moan about prices as we found everything to be reasonable in price for food and drink and transport . . -
We stayed at The Antonis Apartments and the only negative i had with them was , that there wasn't a seperate dining area if you wanted a nice meal in the evening and had to eat around the pool area where the entertainment was going on .
there were two bars that we didn't like , Drunk Corner we thought the staff had a terrible attitude and left after one drink , and The Why Not bar where we waited to be served even though it was practically empty and nobody came to take our order so we got up and left , when outside we were approached and asked why we were leaving and would we like to go back in and she would serve us we replied no thank you .
