Our ship arrived at the island of Kastelorizo around 07.15 so we took a stroll on deck to grab some photos before breakfast.

Our ship, the MS Calypso (Louis Cruise Lines) in the port of Kastelorizo (Meis, Megistri). The very last Greek island before Kas, Turkey. We sailed from Limassol to Kastelorizo and then on to Rhodes. A 3 night / 4 day cruise.

The second part of our cruise included an excursion from the port of Latakia in Syria to the Crusader fort of Crac des Chevaliers (on the outskirts of Homs). A long journey of close on 3 hours by coach! Fantastic place, but a very long and tiring day!

We took a stroll around the Armenian District in the morning after disembarking from our cruise ship in the port of Beirut. In the afternoon, we took in the DownTown (Star Square) area of Beirut, which is much more upmarket and modern after the rebuild.

The Roman Baths are quite amazing as they are located right in the centre of town and were rediscovered during reconstruction in the mid '90s.

I loved this bit of street art or graffiti and decided to capture it as I was passing. Taken near the sculpture park at Molos area on Limassol seafront. Nearer to the old town rather than the main tourist hotels.

Taken at the Apollonia Hotel today (28 December). We were visiting the hotel as one of our friends is out here on holiday. A gorgeous day with 21c degrees and wall to wall sunshine but with some really big seas with very little wind. Strange, but true!

Taken today, 19th December from behind Ryan's Grill & Restaurant at Akrotiri. The pink splodges in the middle of the salt lake are the flamingo's that come to pay us a visit every winter.
