The Roman Baths are quite amazing as they are located right in the centre of town and were rediscovered during reconstruction in the mid '90s.

We took a stroll around the Armenian District in the morning after disembarking from our cruise ship in the port of Beirut. In the afternoon, we took in the DownTown (Star Square) area of Beirut, which is much more upmarket and modern after the rebuild.
