What a pretty sight. The cleaners have been busy.

Pool and jacuzzi. Very small by Vegas standards, but never busy.

Another shot on the Thistlegorm. This is the most famous wreck in the Red Sea but gets very very busy..sometimes there can be as many as 40 divers trying to dive there at once. The day we went, the viz was not that good because of rough seas...so it was not good photographic conditions..

One of our favourite walks down through the Pedi Valley. Pedi Bay, a 30 minute walk from Yialos, (also served by bus and taxis), retains much of its former identity as a fishing village.

A very comfortable hotel on the Canal Foscari Palace is a few steps from the Ca' D'Oro water bus stop, a short walk from Rialto Bridge. The rooftop terrace offers a view across Venice.

There is a temporary museum in Iraklio whilst the main Knossos museum is being renovated. We do have a framed poster of this wonderful bull's head.

Toilet stop (no proper toilets for hundreds of miles), plenty of bushes... only problem is... nine of the worlds most poisonous snakes live behind bushes in Australia!

The ANES owned Proteus is a mainstay of the ferry service around the Dodecanese. 36 years old and still extremely busy every day.

Maria's Taverna at Nimborio is a welcome sight after a walk over the top from Yialos. Nimborio was one of the oldest settlements on Symi in ancient times. It still retains a mysterious atmosphere very different to the bustling harbour and exuberant Chorio.
